OTIS Elevator comprised of 3 office units located at Level 15 & 16 of Menara Symphony Square, Petaling Jaya. The office’s interior was designed to achieve Green Building Index (GBI) Certified rating and meet the goals of energy efficiency and better indoor environment quality. The major green features of the offices include minimise airborne contaminants by using low VOC paint and surface covering for all interior walls, ceilings and floor. Developed and implemented active IAQ management program to meet the ventilation rates of the Acceptable Ventilation for Indoor Air Quality (ASHRAE 62.1), use of recycled content materials and regional materials, encouragement of waste management by providing recycling bins during construction and building occupancy. Provide good levels of daylighting for the occupants with majority working spaces have a direct line of sight through vision indoor and outdoor glazing. Effective control of indoor air pressure and humidity, provision of open and flexible planning layout, use of demountable partition, provision of breakout area, nursing room, hot- desk and fully equipped pantry. Installed metering & leak detection system, use of drinking water filtration system and use of non-disposable cups.
